“Coder to Developer” by Mike Gunderloy was somewhat disappointing. The intent of the book is to teach you how to go beyond being just a coder (someone who types code) and become a real developer (someone who builds sellable software).

Unfortunately the author doesn’t say anything new and nothing you haven’t heard hundreds of times before. The best thing about the book though, is that for every “best practice” it gives you a list of papers, tools, links, to learn more about the subject. I found that useful.
