- missing railsconf in portland because they decided to do it the same day/weekend we wanted to go live
- lack of railsconf coverage or online materials
- losing a couple of pounds is hard and slow
- twitter more down than up
- lack of games on the mac

boba fett:
- start running again (new treadmill)
- hitting 100% functional code coverage (unit tests at a respectable 96.4%, and growing)
- half-size index cards and how it forces stories to be smaller. since we started using half-size cards, it seems that the average story size dropped to half a point. Prolly a coincidence like Lou Gehrig dying of Lou Gehrig’s disease.
- yep and leap. Great little apps. mac only.
- knowing that i won’t have to wake early monday morning (even though i probably will)

jar jar bings:
- the hard cold truth of going on the scale after more than a year
- the sucky house market and how it affects my friends trying to sell their houses
- how big treadmills are, even the small ones. is wii fit the answer?

- being a noob at objective-c and cocoa
- underestimating stories by a slight 400% margin error
- pdf books from manning publications
- adobe cs3 installer/uninstaller (it’s got to be different engineers making the installer/uninstaller)

pro:
- no country for old men
- morgane’s tests
- hearing from a co-worker “thanks for that feature” when i didn’t implement that feature, my (meta)program did
- family guy on itunes
- celebrating 2 years off the tv grid

noob:
- trying to chat with old friends, and hearing crickets instead
- being addicted to the mac
- hangover after just one belgian beer and 2 home made schnapps
- cat vomit + carpet + middle of the night
- npr pledge drive when i forgot to bring cds

sweet:
- ruby metaprogramming
- porting web apps to the iphone with iui and iphoney
- sapnay show at the homestead high school
- reading “presentation zen”
- morgane being accepted to her art class of choice for this summer

sour:
- people with bluetooth earpieces
- fud around rails
- macbook pro being all retarded when trying to come back from sleep
- being difficult
- not having enough room for my books
